System Code
System | 107 is Vode at its most adaptable. An infinite combination of rails, mounting locations and optics, System 107 can be configured to meet the requirements of almost any interior application.
The system can be a stand-alone luminaire or a continuous line of light with unlimited length. Vode’s hardware allows for mounting to most surfaces - wall, ceiling, workstation, shelving, table, cabinetry, etc.
System lengths layout in 12” (305mm) increments. Standard rail lengths range from 24” (610mm) to 96” (2438mm). Some rail types are limited to 72” (1829mm). Metric and non-standard lengths and layouts are available. See Steps 4 and 5.

Non-standard LED rail lengths are limited by LED board lengths. In some cases, non-standard lengths will mean that the lighted area of a rail is significantly shorter than the rail length. When non-standard layout/rail length is chosen, Vode will contact specifier if any clarification is required.

Arm/Cord Length
Specify arm or cord length. If the desired arm or cord length is not available, select “Other (please specify)" and enter the desired length in inches or mm.
Standard cord lengths are 48" (1219mm), 96" (2438mm) and have an adjustment range of -44" (1118mm) to +7" (177mm).
Standard arm lengths range from 1.25" (32mm) minimum to 24" (610mm) maximum. Non-standard lengths are available.
Wall mounting for single rail systems with arm lengths ≥18" (457mm); and double rail systems with arm lengths ≥6" (152mm) requires cable tie-back (included).
Arm dimensions:
Single arms, 0.5" x 1” (13mm x 25mm), are used at the end of each system. Double arms, 1” x 1” (25mm x 25mm), are used for rail to rail connection.

Power Location
Specify integral or remote power location and desired hardware type.
Vode power locations fall into two categories: integral and remote.
Integral power:
Integral power means the power supply is located in a surface-mounted driver housing or recessed Vode junction box. Arms or cords connect rails to the driver housing.
Remote power:
Remote power means the power supply is located in an electrical enclosure mounted away from the rail and arm/cord assembly. Power supply enclosures and connections must be accessible after installation. One electrical enclosure is included for each power supply provided by Vode.
It is very important that power supplies are located within the maximum distance allowed. See Step 9, Power Supply, and consult the Vode Power Guide for more details.
Arm anchor is recommended for most table mounted applications. Access to electrical connections behind mounting surface after installation is required. Arm anchor is not recommended for wall or ceiling applications unless mounting structure is similar to a table surface.

Power Supply
Vode selects power supplies or drivers based on the specific requirements of each LED project.
Vode supplies one driver per rail section and one 25’ (7.62m) wire harness for the power connection. Vode supplies two drivers and two wire harnesses per rail section for DoubleBox and DoubleRace rails.
Vode configures LED power to meet the requirements of your specification. Vode supplies drivers to match the designed load of your system. For most applications, drivers can be located up to 100’ (30.5m) from the rail using Vode wire harnesses.
Driver dimming curve is factory preset to linear. Logarithmic is available upon request.
It is very important that drivers are located within the maximum distance allowed. See Vode Power Guide for maximum remote distance information.
